Software Engineer – Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Developing solutions that enable users to maximize their experience with Algolia

• Conducting experiments and A/B testing to identify the most effective solutions

• Partnering with Product and Design teams to identify new opportunities

• Contributing to the advancement of our Growth platform, ensuring it scales alongside our customers and internal teams

• Collaborating with various teams to establish a robust growth foundation

• Writing high-quality, thoroughly tested code and engaging in code review processes

• Contributing to enhancements in engineering quality, processes, and tools

• Proposing ideas for the team roadmap and gradually taking ownership of projects from inception to completion

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong enthusiasm for delivering optimal user experiences to diverse groups across various industries (including engineers, marketers, merchandisers, etc.)

• A mindset geared towards making data-driven decisions while understanding the implications of the changes you implement

• Some experience with or a keen interest in event-driven infrastructure within GCP or AWS

• Experience in developing production applications using a backend programming language (currently utilizing Ruby and exploring Go)

• Comfort in working across the technology stack or eagerness to evolve into full-stack development with TypeScript, React, and contemporary frontend tools
