This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Complete responsibility for the technical strategy of the self-service spend management platform.
• Designing and coding for essential roadmap projects — including flexible budget controls, the Budget Settings interface, and integrated spend strategies across channels (Marketplace + SPO).
• Developing and nurturing relationships with engineers on your team as well as partners in Product, Design, and Analytics to enhance and realize the product vision.
• Ensuring the accuracy and dependability of a system that manages financial transactions — including spend tracking, budget enforcement, and the safeguards that maintain their integrity.
• Guiding engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and one-on-one collaboration.
• Engaging with state-of-the-art GenAI tools and technologies, while keeping future objectives like spend recommendations and AI-driven budget insights in mind.
• Significant experience (2+ years) in .NET and AWS or similar cloud technologies.
• Capability to incorporate generative AI tools into everyday workflows to streamline tasks, encourage innovation, and enhance productivity.
• A solid understanding of constructing and scaling essential back-end services, along with front-end skills to ensure usability.
• A strong focus on accuracy and reliability, with an instinct to embed observability and safeguards into financial systems from the outset.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a pronounced inclination towards action.
