Software Engineer, Fullstack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design, development, and upkeep of public-facing APIs utilized by enterprise clients.

• Create and manage integrations with external enterprise systems, such as HRIS platforms.

• Provide support for shared platform services utilized throughout the engineering organization.

• Produce clean, well-tested, and thoroughly documented code, and engage in code review processes.

• Operate within large-scale multi-tenant cloud services, enhancing your knowledge of scalability and fault tolerance.

• Utilize Generative AI tools and coding agents in daily workflows to enhance code quality and expedite delivery.

• Collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional partners to address challenges and deliver value to customers.

• Contribute to production health, including participation in on-call rotations and incident response, within a 'you build it, you run it' framework.

• Identify and assist in resolving issues related to availability, reliability, and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• 3-5 years of experience in building reliable and high-performing applications and microservices.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js; Ruby experience is advantageous.

• Experience across frontend (React.js), backend, and database components.

• Familiarity with AWS, including core compute, storage, and networking services.

• A sense of curiosity, eagerness to learn, and receptiveness to feedback.

• A focus on enhancing customer experience in your deliverables.
