Software Engineer – Front-end, Back-end

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

• Engaging in an on-call rotation to support essential systems.

• Adopting an AI-driven approach: taking an active role in incorporating AI into our workflows – focusing on setup, documentation, and cross-team synergy of AI tools to ensure our processes are scalable, structured, efficient, and sustainable beyond any single individual.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in a back-end programming language and API development. Ruby is our primary stack and is preferred, though not mandatory.

• Strong foundational knowledge and a commitment to learning are more important to us.

• Some familiarity with front-end development is advantageous.

• Experience in creating solutions using cloud-based technologies.

• Background in applying robust engineering practices such as test-driven development and continuous delivery, preferably within event-driven systems, microservice architectures, and data streaming platforms.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting.

• A solutions-oriented approach to challenging situations.

• Capacity to operate effectively in a fast-paced and agile environment.
