Software Engineer, Digital Patient Model Services – C++

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain modular C++ services that integrate and present our cutting-edge anatomical models and data processing workflows.

• Develop and enhance the backend logic that supports our gRPC and Protocol Buffers interfaces, ensuring dependable data transmission to clinical applications.

• Utilize C++20 Coroutines to address concurrency and low-latency data flow challenges, guaranteeing that anatomical information is accessible precisely when required.

• Collaborate on the interface between traditional data processing and machine learning outputs, ensuring the service remains modular and easily testable.

• Manage the complete lifecycle, from the technical concept to comprehensive testing, while automating workflows for a stable and repeatable release process.

• Serve as a technical advisor for both internal teams and external partners, assisting them in the seamless incorporation of the Digital Patient Model services into their applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, with a solid understanding of Modern C++ (20) and asynchronous programming.

• Experience (or a strong preference for) distributed backend architectures and API-driven applications where reliability and efficiency are paramount.

• A dedication to constructing robust, deterministic systems where the code is clean, intentional, and maintainable.

• Familiarity with Git and experience with Python or PowerShell for automation tasks.

• A proactive and collaborative development approach within a dynamic environment, emphasizing iterative improvements and team-wide knowledge sharing.
