Software Engineer, Data Acquisition

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create new plugins in line with requirement specifications and uphold the quality and design standards applied throughout our extensive library of connectors.

• Enhance existing plugins to resolve bugs, accommodate new requirements, and/or respond to updates and changes in the repository.

• Troubleshoot plugin issues identified through failing tests and client feedback regarding unexpected behaviors.

• Draft pull requests detailing fixes and code modifications to support peer code review, and incorporate feedback from peers into your work.

• Ensure comprehensive coverage of plugins with robust unit and integration tests.

• Provide effort estimates to management to aid in team commitments to development schedules.

• Share insights with colleagues and management through developer documentation, team presentations, and demonstrations.

• Participate in a sustainable on-call rotation aimed at maintaining the health of our SaaS infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in developing Java applications within an enterprise software setting.

• Proficient with tools for accessing and retrieving data from various content repository systems.

• Familiarity with tracking software development tasks using an issue tracking system (preferably Jira) and source control (Git and GitHub).

• Eager to evolve as a software engineer and acquire new skills in software development, technical communication, and team collaboration.

• Committed to delivering exceptional customer and stakeholder experiences.

• Strong technical communication skills and a passion for sharing knowledge with team members.

• Willing to collaborate with a diverse team across different time zones, regions, and cultures.

• Experience in developing and supporting software in a continuously delivered SaaS environment.
