This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create software for projects and features, focusing on backend systems and APIs that handle data ingestion, processing, and routing.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain clear, concise, and robust code that meets the expectations of our customers.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, designers, and product managers to convert feature specifications into product designs and executable code.

• Verify that product features function as intended by developing comprehensive test plans complemented by thorough automated tests.

• Take complete ownership of the software you create, actively participating in your team’s on-call/support rotation.

• Be proactive in driving initiatives that assist the larger team in achieving desired results, even if they fall outside your specific job responsibilities.

• This role may require stand-by, on-call, or off-hours responsibilities (if on-call duties are necessary).


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related area, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Strong computer science fundamentals from academic coursework or professional experience, including data structures, algorithms, basic networking, and operating systems concepts, along with an interest in distributed systems and scalability.

• Proven experience in developing products that utilize large-scale data sets (Node.js/Typescript).

• In-depth knowledge of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and principles of scalability.

• Familiarity with systems-level debugging, networking, performance profiling, and tuning.

• A passion for learning new technologies and the ability to diagnose complex issues.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and rapid iterative development processes.

• A strong sense of ownership, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality and high-performance outputs.

• Background in developing software or services for cloud-based platforms.

• Candidates must meet U.S. government security requirements for access to FedRAMP-authorized systems, which may include U.S. citizenship.
