Software Engineer, Cloud Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create code and unit tests for back-of-house (BOH) systems utilizing AI technologies to enhance efficiency and precision.

• Work alongside fellow software engineers, quality engineers (QE), site reliability engineers (SRE), security engineers, and product teams across YUM brands and vendor partners to execute software solutions.

• Engage in Agile Scrum activities such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and turnover sessions.

• Document and illustrate software processes with a comprehensive overview of data flows.

• Assist in the creation and enhancement of processes or tools. Revise existing code through refactoring.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; or equivalent professional experience.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a software developer.

• At least 2 years' experience with AWS cloud computing, including serverless technologies.

• Proficient in GitLab, Postman, TypeScript, Serverless Framework, CDK, and Cursor.
