Cloud Engineer – GCP, Azure Managed Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee, maintain, and provide support for GCP and Azure environments for clients utilizing managed services.

• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure incidents and service requests effectively.

• Administer cloud resources such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL (GCP), Azure VMs, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, App Services, and Azure Functions.

• Set up and manage networking components including VPC, Cloud DNS, Private Service Connect (GCP), as well as Virtual Networks, VPN Gateway, Azure DNS, NSGs, and Private Endpoints (Azure).

• Ensure security and compliance through IAM, Org Policies, VPC Service Controls, Secret Manager, and Cloud Audit Logs (GCP), along with Azure AD / Entra ID, RBAC, Azure Policy, and Defender for Cloud (Azure).

• Manage infrastructure utilizing Terraform and Azure DevOps / Cloud Build / GitHub Actions pipelines.

• Collaborate with client teams and assist in the creation of documentation and runbooks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with core services of Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.

• Solid understanding of GCP and Azure networking principles.

• Familiarity with Azure security fundamentals (Entra ID, RBAC, Azure Policy, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud) and GCP (IAM, Org Policies, audit logging, Secret Manager).

• Proficiency in Terraform (required) and Bicep (a plus) for infrastructure as code.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Cloud Build.

• Capability to independently troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues on GCP and Azure.

• Strong communication skills in both English and Polish, suitable for a client-facing environment.
