Software Engineer – C++, ClickHouse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Your main concentration will be on ClickHouse, with your daily tasks influenced by our product objectives.

• Your responsibilities may include addressing significant ClickHouse bugs that affect our clients or creating innovative new features.

• You will work alongside team members to identify the best solutions for various ClickHouse challenges.

• We hold daily conversations regarding the product, balancing current obstacles with our long-term vision.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess C++ experience and are currently working with or contributing to ClickHouse, or

• You have C++ experience in a different type of product but are eager to become an expert in ClickHouse internals.

• You are a skilled programmer (in C++ or other languages) with a thorough understanding of how databases operate internally.

• You are fluent in English. Proficiency in Spanish, Russian, or Mandarin is a plus.

• You have strong written communication skills, which are vital for our asynchronous work model, documentation, guides, and occasional blog posts.

• Ideally, you will participate as part of the on-call team to gain insights into our product and the challenges our clients encounter.

• Preferably, you are based in Europe or at least not too far across time zones.
