Software Engineer, Backend – Django

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create high-quality software design and architecture.

• Design and establish efficient APIs for the front-end team.

• Develop clean, functional, and scalable code for the back-end of web applications.

• Implement and oversee databases and applications.

• Integrate front-end components with server-side logic.

• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure alignment between server-side and client-side.

• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.

• Identify and enhance any technical issues.

• Work alongside QA engineers to create effective strategies and testing plans.

• Produce and execute testing scripts.

• Conduct regular updates to enhance system functionality and introduce new features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Backend Developer or in a similar position.

• Proficient in server-side languages such as Python, along with Django and Django Rest Framework.

• Familiarity with database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and others.

• Knowledge of front-end languages such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

• Basic understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).

• Strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to work in a team-oriented setting.

• Effective communication skills for collaboration with other teams.

• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
