Software Engineer – Backend, Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Assist customers and staff in leveraging the platform, data, and tools effectively.

• Maintain the accessibility of the platform, data, and tools.

• Identify and implement enhancements for the platform, data, and tools concerning security, quality, testing, automation, documentation, and new features.

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and task prioritization.

• Assess the effort needed for development tasks and assist in creating project timelines.

• Monitor and report on progress, proactively addressing any delays or obstacles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a software engineer, focusing on backend development and ETL processes for web applications.

• Experience in gathering, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets.

• Strong proficiency in Python.

• Strong proficiency in SQL.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities across varying timelines.

• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities through deductive reasoning, understanding hierarchical relationships, and recognizing logical gaps.

• Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently.

• Residing in Eastern Europe.

• Proficient in at least one of the following tools: Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio (Preferred).

• Exceptional analytical and customer-facing skills with a keen attention to detail (Preferred).

• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure (Preferred).
