Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and oversee the onboarding and integration experience for our customers, which includes creating intuitive and reliable SDK APIs that facilitate seamless adoption for developers.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to define the team’s roadmap, prioritize impactful initiatives, and deliver features that rapidly enhance customer value.

• Navigate through ambiguity: decompose complex authentication and identity challenges, make practical trade-offs, and achieve incremental milestones in production.

• Elevate the quality of the products you contribute to by implementing thorough testing, versioning, documentation, backward compatibility, and smooth migration strategies.

• Enhance the performance, reliability, and security of client-side processes, particularly those that are critical to our customers.

• Mentor and assist fellow engineers through collaborative pairing, constructive feedback, and knowledge-sharing, contributing to the technical advancement and culture of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience as a full-stack engineer, delivering customer-facing web products in production using contemporary frontend technologies (experience with Next.js is essential).

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining intricate web applications and/or public-facing web SDKs.

• Proficient in building developer-centric APIs and tools, with an emphasis on enhancing the integration experience.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, reliable software that functions seamlessly across various browsers and environments.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of composing design documentation and leading technical discussions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent practical background.

• Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including on-call rotations during weekends and holidays.
