This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop integrations or web-based tools, including applications that enable user interaction with AI/ML models and large language models (LLMs).
• Write effective JQL and SQL queries to fulfill reporting, analytics, and data integration requirements.
• Customize and develop Atlassian functionalities by utilizing JQL/CQL queries, Groovy scripts, and Confluence user macros using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or Python, while also having the ability to develop and integrate with other software, including Microsoft Office 365.
• Rapidly create prototypes and iterate on solutions, integrating feedback and showcasing progress regularly.
• Independently explore, assess, and implement potential solutions by leveraging Atlassian documentation, community resources, and online research.
• Generate and update technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, dashboards, and knowledge base articles in Confluence to assist both customers and internal teams.
• Develop how-to guides, presentations, and user instructions, ensuring accuracy and a professional standard before distribution.
• Assist in CI/CD pipeline configuration and contribute to code quality through unit testing and adherence to best development practices.
• Conduct Jira/Confluence demonstrations, training sessions, and troubleshooting support remotely or in-person as needed.
• Engage in Agile team activities, including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog management.
• Organize individual work tasks via Jira boards and internal ticketing systems, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and delivering timely customer support.
• Collaborate with teammates to coordinate schedules, ensuring customer support coverage during core hours (8 AM – 5 PM Pacific, Monday–Friday).
• Maintain professional communication and teamwork with customers and colleagues while supporting ongoing digital engineering projects.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Required to possess a minimum of Secret level security clearance, with the potential to upgrade to TS.
• Strong proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Demonstrated experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a related role.
• Ability to design and implement both client-side and server-side components for web applications, ensuring smooth integration and functionality.
• Develop and manage database structures, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance optimization for scalable applications.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs to enable communication between front-end and back-end systems.
• Participate in code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and ensure high-quality code that adheres to best practices and standards.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending tools and practices to improve development processes and application performance.
• Create and maintain thorough documentation for code, architecture, and development processes to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
• Proficient in using ScriptRunner to manipulate Jira's interface and underlying logic.
• Expertise in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or frameworks like React).
• Extensive experience with back-end technologies/frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, Express, Django).
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence Data Center versions.
• Solid understanding of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) along with experience in SQL.
• Familiar with version control systems (e.g., BitBucket, GitLab) and agile development methodologies.
• Experience utilizing AI-powered tools as a force multiplier throughout the software development lifecycle — from prototyping and validation to troubleshooting and documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Capability to telework with reliable phone and internet connectivity.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to LAAFB.
