This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Accountable for the introduction of products and the manufacturing performance of new and ongoing AI/ML, GPGPU, and hardware accelerator-based server and storage platforms.
• Demonstrates exceptional capability to organize teams and drive solutions for multiple, intricate problems across various technical domains (hardware, software, firmware, performance, interoperability, etc.).
• Must exhibit a high level of attention to detail while also being able to articulate complex issues in straightforward, actionable terms across all organizational levels.
• Requires a strong balance of technical expertise, experience-driven judgment, and business insight in all execution and decision-making processes.
• Exhibits a robust ability to foster, develop, and sustain positive interpersonal relationships with peers, team members, executive leadership, customers, and external partners at all times.
• Provides thought leadership and directs engineering support to several manufacturing sites, focusing on product, test infrastructure, component, and supplier expertise.
• Shares knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to ensure that best practices are both disseminated and implemented throughout the organization.
• Guides customers and Jabil operational teams towards effectively resolving complex and/or systemic product, process, and material issues by utilizing rigorous analytical methods.
• Collaborates with site operations and test leadership to conduct root cause investigations that lead to clear actions and improvements in FPY, test throughput, and repair yield.
• Acts as the primary technical liaison for customer product introductions and manufacturing performance, leveraging server and storage subject matter expertise.
• Directly contributes to the knowledge repository utilized for effective and accurate debugging, trains relevant test/debug leads, and responds promptly to feedback to support daily operational goals.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is mandatory.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in a hardware product development environment focusing on enterprise server, storage, or networking products.
• Extensive experience and deep understanding of server, storage, networking, and GPGPU and PCIe-based accelerator architectures.
• Experience in systems management with server products, including knowledge of embedded remote management standards, interfaces, and applications.
• Familiarity with operating systems, drivers, firmware, hardware architecture, and device interactions.
• Ability to utilize SW/HW expertise to identify root causes that lead to optimized solutions.
• Proficient in Linux operating systems, related applications, and script development.
• Proven capability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous business environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally, up to 40%, is essential.
