• Independently detect edge cases and possible failure modes within the scope of assigned tasks.

• Produce clean, maintainable code and offer constructive, specific feedback during code reviews.

• Proactively communicate any obstacles or uncertainties to the team.

• Utilize practical knowledge of federated identity standards such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, and JWT.

• Comprehend and analyze authorization frameworks, policy enforcement, and their integration into both upstream and downstream services.

• Clearly reason about token lifecycle, session management, and the security implications of identity design decisions.

• Grasp the mechanics of connecting distributed services within a multi-product platform setting.

• Develop and maintain integrations that are observable, fault-tolerant, and considerate of downstream consumers.

• Draft and work with API contracts (REST, event-driven patterns) while focusing on versioning and backward compatibility.

• Actively utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) to expedite design, implementation, and validation processes.

• Engage in the development and enhancement of AI-assisted workflows and evaluation harnesses.

• Keep abreast of developing AI tools and introduce innovative approaches to the team.

• Write tests with adequate coverage to detect regressions without excessive engineering.

• Contribute to operational health by monitoring deployed features, addressing issues, and ensuring resolution of incidents.

• Contribute to the development of AI harnesses to enhance team productivity.

• Share effective AI-assisted engineering practices with the team.

• Write unit, integration, and acceptance tests.

• Instrument services for observability (logging, metrics, alerting).

• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities.

• Engage in design discussions and code reviews, providing and receiving feedback constructively.

• Offer mentorship and review assistance to junior engineers.

• Contribute to internal documentation, runbooks, and onboarding materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience, demonstrating the ability to independently own and deliver features in a production setting.

• Hands-on experience in building backend services using .NET or Python, including RESTful API development.

• Proven experience implementing or integrating with federated identity systems utilizing OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, and/or JWT in production applications.

• Practical understanding of authorization frameworks: modeling, enforcement, and integration of policies into application and platform services.

• Proficiency in .NET or Python for backend service development; knowledge of modern API frameworks (e.g., .NET 9+, FastAPI) is preferred.

• Familiarity with identity protocol mechanics: authorization code flow, token introspection, claims-based access, assertion handling, and SSO logout behavior.

• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS integration patterns, including tenant-scoped configuration and user identity across application boundaries.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred), including relevant managed services for networking, compute, and secrets management.

• Proficiency with standard development tools: Git, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and automated testing.

• Regular use of AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex, or similar) as part of daily engineering practices.

🏝️ Benefits

• Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.

• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.

• Flexible working hours and remote work options.

• Professional development opportunities and support for continuing education.
