Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain full-stack applications utilizing Java and Spring.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and testable code.

• Engage in code reviews and integrate feedback effectively.

• Assist in application deployment and ongoing support.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and fellow developers, to ensure that software solutions align with business needs.

• Participate throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to deployment and maintenance.

• Communicate with stakeholders, including management, customers, and other teams, to ensure software solutions fulfill their requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.

• Capability to work collaboratively in a remote team setting.

• Desire to learn and advance under the guidance of senior engineers.

• Familiarity with tools such as Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Experience with one or more cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and knowledge of their services and APIs.

• Ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven experience utilizing AI coding assistants in a professional or project context.

• Skill in crafting clear, specific prompts that yield useful outputs.

• Strong critical evaluation skills — capable of identifying subtle bugs, inefficiencies, or security vulnerabilities in generated code.

• Awareness of AI limitations, including hallucinations, outdated patterns, and context window constraints.
