Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Support software development efforts utilizing Python to create and implement accessible, scalable, and secure back-end web services and APIs tailored for diverse legal and intellectual property stakeholders, including platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook.

• Aid in managing and diagnosing issues within production systems, while also refactoring existing applications to enhance business processes.

• Apply system designs and software design patterns to develop maintainable, testable, and robust software and services.

• Collaborate with third-party APIs, including the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of API connections to guarantee seamless interoperability between systems.

• Oversee and troubleshoot distributed systems and services within a production environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience with Python and JavaScript (ReactJs).

• At least 3 years of experience with SQL and RDBMS, preferably using MariaDB or MySQL.

• Familiarity with RHEL-based Linux Distributions (such as Oracle Enterprise Linux or CentOS).

• Proficient in git and associated processes, including git flow, forking/branching strategies, and pull requests/code reviews.

• Experience in developing, utilizing, and comprehending APIs.

• Professional background in Object Oriented Development.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
