Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the entire lifecycle of the survey application, which includes design, development, deployment, and maintenance.

• Develop and maintain features utilizing Ruby on Rails across the complete stack.

• Design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS, including ECS, CloudFormation, load balancers, and more.

• Create scalable and reliable backend systems alongside responsive user interfaces.

• Adopt an AI-first approach to development.

• Assess and incorporate emerging technologies, such as voice AI and conversational interfaces.

• Monitor system performance, resolve issues, and enhance reliability continuously.

• Set best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment as an individual contributor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience with Ruby on Rails, ideally 5+ years.

• Proficiency in full stack development, covering both frontend and backend.

• Practical experience in building and deploying applications on AWS, encompassing ECS (or similar container orchestration), CloudFormation (or equivalents for infrastructure-as-code), load balancers, networking, and scaling strategies.

• Experience in designing and managing production-grade systems.

• Familiarity with voice AI platforms or conversational user experiences is preferred.

• Background in frontend development, particularly with React and NextJS, is preferred.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and best practices in DevOps is preferred.

• Experience in a startup or early-stage product environment is preferred.
