Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of engineering challenges from start to finish within your area: comprehend the requirements, devise a solution with your team, deploy to production, and assess the outcomes.

• Deliver updates consistently in weekly cycles with a clear response to "what was released this week and what insights did we gain?" each time.

• Develop across the entire stack as needed, including backend services using TypeScript, Node, Postgres, NATS, and Redis, as well as UI components in React and React Native.

• Incorporate AI tools seamlessly into your daily processes and take responsibility for everything you produce, critically evaluating outputs before they go live.

• Ensure that the systems you work on are improved, focusing on code quality, test coverage, and long-term maintainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in developing production software with a focus on product engineering.

• Proficiency across the complete stack, including backend systems in TypeScript or Node.js and frontend development with React.

• Regular utilization of AI tools in everyday development, with the discernment to assess their output prior to deployment.

• A proactive approach to asking challenging scope questions early in the process and maintaining clear communication.

• Sufficient systems knowledge to write resilient code that performs well under load and to consider scenarios beyond the ideal path.
