Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure that applications function efficiently while providing production support, conducting data research, performing code analysis, and engaging in web and Windows development tasks, including necessary enhancements and hotfixes.

• Keep programming skills updated with extensive experience in: Batch Processing, Document Generation – PDFs, Word Templates, Data exchange formats – CSV, XML, JSON, or binary file formats, and Data transfers via: HTTP, SFTP (SSL).

• Maintain expertise in Microsoft .Net technologies, primarily concentrating on C# development, which includes: .Net Linq, OOPS Programming, Entity Framework, Encompass API, and JavaScript for Windows/Console Applications.

• Possess experience with Microsoft SQL Server, encompassing design, functionality, and troubleshooting, including: TSQL, CRUD - DML and DDL, SSIS, and Encompass SDK.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Over 4 years of experience in .NET Development.

• Previous experience in various technology environments.

• Experience in consumer mortgage and lending on the .NET platform is a plus.

• Experience in working on or leading an agile/scrum team.

• Familiarity with Encompass SDK/API is a plus.

• Experience with AZURE, AWS (EC2 and RDS), JIRA, TFS, Bit Bucket, and GIT is preferred.

• Knowledge of the Microsoft IIS stack, covering application deployment, configuration management, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting of web-based applications and services.

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate new and unfamiliar issues and navigate potential solutions, challenges, and risks.

• Proficient in assessing and countering alternative ideas while effectively representing reasoning.
