This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Create high-quality, durable, and scalable software solutions.

• Write code for both front-end and back-end components, including automated testing and associated tools.

• Assess and review code contributions from fellow engineers on the team.

• Work in conjunction with the DevOps team to develop, oversee, and evaluate deployment processes and infrastructure.

• Ensure that software fulfills the needs of all students and functions reliably in actual classroom settings.

• Participate in proactive testing and monitoring of systems.

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a comparable degree or training.

• Over 2 years of professional experience in software development.

• Familiarity with effective software design and contemporary software engineering practices.

• Knowledge of modern front-end and back-end web technologies.

• Strong problem-solving skills and experience working within complex systems and extensive codebases.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and engage in self-directed learning.

• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts both verbally and in writing.

• A strong interest in developing educational products, with a desire to enhance their equity and accessibility.
