This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop software in an AI-native manner, guiding agents and LLMs based on specifications while taking complete technical responsibility for the results.
• Lead the Spec-Driven Development process, transforming requirements into actionable specifications and contextual artifacts.
• Adjust the AI’s level of autonomy based on risk factors and the maturity of the context.
• Engage in the Augmented Pull Request ritual, evaluating syntax, intent, acceptance criteria, technical choices, and functional implications.
• Contribute to the knowledge layer and reusable contexts, which include skills, patterns, architectural decisions, and connectors/MCPs.
• Implement architectural and engineering best practices to produce clean, testable, and maintainable code within monolithic and/or distributed systems.
• Support automated testing, enhance observability of AI output quality and costs, and adopt practices to minimize rework and technical debt.
• Collaborate within teams utilizing agile methodologies, including code reviews, pair programming, and mob programming.
• Share knowledge and receive guidance from more experienced professionals.
• Proficient writing and specification capabilities.
• Strong critical thinking and technical skepticism.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and delegate effectively.
• Demonstrated autonomy and ownership in work.
• Clear communication regarding requirements, technical decisions, and trade-offs.
• Team collaboration, respect, and adaptability.
• Minimum of 3 years in software development.
• Strong proficiency in at least one technology stack between .NET and React, with the capacity to adapt to others with AI support.
• Experience in Spec-Driven Development, including unambiguous specifications, verifiable plans, and acceptance criteria.
• Familiarity with Context Engineering for LLMs, which encompasses instructions, constraints, examples, tools/MCPs, and context-window control.
• Responsible utilization of generative AI and agentive tools in software development.
• Ability to critically read, verify, and amend code generated by AI and third parties.
• Capability to write organized, testable, and high-quality code, with strong knowledge of object-oriented principles and design.
• Experience with automated unit and/or integration testing.
• Proficient in using Git and collaborating through Pull Requests.
• Experience with SQL databases and foundational data modeling principles.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or XP.
• Nice-to-have: experience in orchestrating agents and MCPs/connectors.
• Nice-to-have: skills in evaluating and observing AI outputs and model-agnostic architectures.
• Nice-to-have: experience with distributed architectures, microservices, or messaging systems.
• Nice-to-have: knowledge of CI/CD, build and release automation.
• Nice-to-have: familiarity with cloud technologies, Docker, Kubernetes, and Python.
