Software Engineer, AI Governance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design and develop product features that elevate the standard for remote development in self-hosted environments.

• Enhance and contribute to well-known open source projects that are compatible with VS Code, JetBrains, and other development tools.

• Advocate for best practices among both internal team members and external contributors.

• Collaborate with Product and Design teams at Coder, as well as with partners like JetBrains, to implement vital product integrations.

• Document the design, implementation, and operational processes of systems to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

• Partner with Customer Success teams to assist Coder’s enterprise user base.

• Utilize advanced AI technologies to deliver seamless and enjoyable developer experiences.

• Quickly transition from prototype to implementation within a dynamic and responsive team environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of full-stack experience in a professional environment, including at least 1 year of experience with Go.

• Expertise in building distributed systems using Go.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Outstanding debugging and troubleshooting skills, along with the determination to reach a resolution.

• Self-motivated with a blend of creative and analytical thinking.
