Software Engineer – AI, Data Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and expand an AI-driven stock research assistant capable of processing SEC filings and financial data in real-time.

• Design and oversee data pipelines for the ingestion and transformation of large-scale financial datasets (such as EDGAR, market data, etc.).

• Create backend systems and APIs that support search functionalities, analytics, and AI processes.

• Implement and enhance semantic search systems utilizing embeddings and vector databases.

• Construct internal tools and dashboards for analytics, content performance tracking, and investor insights.

• Enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of production systems.

• Assume responsibility for features from their design phase through to implementation, deployment, and monitoring.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive backend development experience with Python (FastAPI or equivalent).

• Strong proficiency in SQL (Postgres/MySQL) and data modeling.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining production-grade APIs.

• Practical experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, or similar services).

• Familiarity with data pipelines and ETL systems.

• Solid understanding of system design and scalable architectures.

• Knowledge of vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.).

• Experience with LLM-based systems or AI applications.

• Understanding of Docker, CI/CD, or cloud deployment practices.
