Software Development Team Lead, Java/Kotlin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of engineers, working closely with product owners, while applying best practices to develop scalable and high-performance applications.

• Drive the architectural vision and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

• Mentor team members and foster a robust engineering culture.

• Actively participate in development tasks, including back-end microservices using Java and Kotlin, Angular front-end, and containerized deployments.

• Continuously enhance system design, code quality, and team efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in software development within product-oriented companies, with a minimum of 3 years focusing extensively on Java or Kotlin.

• At least 3 years in a managerial role overseeing people.

• Proficient in working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with the Spring Boot Framework.

• Experience in designing and implementing efficient distributed systems.

• Capability to make architectural decisions and assess their effects on system performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Strong engineering culture, keen attention to detail, and a business-oriented mindset.
