Software Development Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead and design the advancement of high-criticality microservices, ensuring the transformation of complex business rules into scalable, resilient, and low-latency systems.

• Simplify complexity: enhance our integration layer with various payment providers, ensuring that internal products utilize a unified platform regardless of the external service.

• Practical innovation: identify opportunities to implement new concepts and technologies, balancing cutting-edge methods with simplicity and technical feasibility.

• Ensure stability: serve as a key resource for identifying and resolving complex incidents, collaborating within your team and with related teams.

• Focus on efficiency: identify systemic inefficiencies across teams and drive efforts (technical or process-related) to optimize delivery flow and platform performance.

• Elevate the technical standard: assess partner teams’ outputs with an emphasis on Software Engineering, Product, and Business, ensuring pull requests adhere to industry best practices.

• Feedback culture: disseminate knowledge through constructive code reviews, mentorship, and documentation, fostering autonomy and the technical development of peers.

• Strategic influence: serve as a technical liaison between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring the final solution is both elegant and robust.

• Enhance efficiency with AI: spearhead the adoption of AI-Assisted Development tools (such as advanced copilots and coding agents) to expedite code writing, unit testing, and technical documentation.

• AI integration on the platform: investigate the application of AI to enhance payment platform workflows, such as intelligent transaction categorization or proactive anomaly detection in logs and integration metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a software developer working on evolutionary projects and high-complexity applications.

• Development of code and scripts in the programming languages and frameworks utilized by the company.

• Experience in API design and consumption.

• Knowledge of functional programming and design patterns.

• Proficiency in TDD and test automation.

• Expertise in microservices architecture design and event-driven architecture.

• Familiarity with relational and object-oriented databases.

• Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery processes and containerization.

• Understanding of secure software development (OWASP).

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.

• Fluency in English is considered an advantage.
