Software Development Engineer – Test

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Engineering and Product teams to coordinate, develop, and implement test plans.

• Engage in product requirements and design reviews alongside product managers and other engineers to uphold strong UI-UX and functional standards.

• Create comprehensive test plans and test cases for the functional areas that need evaluation.

• Execute test cases during development sprints and meticulously document the outcomes.

• Design, construct, and sustain a scalable test automation strategy and suite aimed at UI, UX, and APIs utilizing modern tools such as Playwright.

• Take ownership of the product's regression testing and develop tools to automate and streamline the regression testing process.

• Utilize AI testing tools and solutions to enhance test generation, speed up debugging, and address intricate QA challenges.

• Promote the adoption of best practices in code quality, testing, and maintainability.

• Analyze and dissect complex software systems while collaborating with and influencing others to enhance the overall design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

• Over 2 years of experience performing regression, functional, UI-UX, API, Database, and performance testing in an enterprise software development setting.

• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, with practical experience or deep conceptual knowledge of Playwright (or similar contemporary frameworks).

• Proven experience in test automation and the capability to write and develop testing code is essential.

• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development and Unit Test Frameworks is advantageous.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to tackle QA challenges using AI solutions will be a significant advantage.

• Demonstrated history of outstanding performance.
