Software Development Engineer in Test, C++

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

📋 Description

• Create automated quality assurance processes for server/client-based applications

• Document and uphold QA procedures and testing matrices

• Design and execute testing plans for new features

• Implement and incorporate regression tests within automated environments

• Establish acceptance criteria for developed artifacts

• Collaborate on QA tasks with other teams

• Foster a culture of quality throughout the organization

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer

• Proficient in C++, C, Bash, and Git

• Experience with Linux/Unix; Shell usage is essential

• Proven expertise in test design techniques, testing methods, and types

• Experience in automating QA processes for server/client-based applications

• Familiarity with CI tools (such as Jenkins, Travis, or similar)

• Experience in creating and maintaining testing documentation

• Exceptional communication skills in an international environment – English is used daily!

• Understanding and willingness to explore Networking (VPN, OSI model layers, protocols, DNS, routing) and security concepts (TLS, PKI, encryption).

• Knowledge of authentication protocols (PAM, LDAP, SAML/OAuth, AD) and security tools.

• Understanding of SSL/TLS certificate usage and PKI to establish a private CA.
