Software Development Engineer in Test

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance across various platforms and applications.

• Collaborate with development teams to identify test requirements, formulate test plans, and execute automated test scripts.

• Continuously enhance testing processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness in delivering high-quality software solutions.

• Contribute to system test plans to ensure exceptionally comprehensive test coverage and automation.

• Create and deploy automated system tests to simulate real-world scenarios.

• Enhance testing methodologies and procedures to improve test automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with 1 to 2 years of pertinent experience.

• Have Python programming skills with practical experience in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks using Pytest and Unittest.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CloudBees, Git, and automation/scripting practices is essential.

• Be proficient in Linux environments and SQL for troubleshooting, validation, and test automation activities.

• Have a solid understanding of networking and internet technologies, including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, and DHCP.

• Possess analytical, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills, capable of addressing complex challenges in large-scale distributed systems while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
