Software Development Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and deploy computer programming systems and applications.

• Create and assess software enhancements and new products, including tools related to cloud computing or the internet.

• Conduct application audits and evaluate testing processes.

• Ensure that applications and products adhere to established quality standards.

• Generate documentation to assist future managers and engineers in resolving potential issues.

• Plan, design, develop, test, and troubleshoot cloud-based applications across the entire cloud stack.

• Collaborate with project managers to drive optimized solutions within set constraints.

• Integrate cloud applications and execute integration testing.

• Plan, design, develop, and test mobile applications for Android, iOS, and other platforms.

• Work together with analysts, developers, and project managers to specify mobile application requirements, appearances, functions, and integration needs.

• Provide support for released applications by addressing bugs and uploading updated versions.

• Address mobile security aspects such as mobile data management as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient knowledge in software design and development.

• Comprehensive understanding of automated testing tools and traditional quality assurance methodologies.

• Experience in the development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based applications.

• Familiarity with SaaS, PaaS, and/or IaaS models.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office 365, Windows Azure, Google App Engine, and Amazon Web Services/EC2.

• In-depth understanding of cloud storage services like EBS, Amazon S3, and EFS.

• Familiarity with APIs, pre-scripting, post-scripting, and integration testing.

• Experience in developing applications for Android, iOS, and other mobile platforms.

• Knowledge of cross-platform development tools and associated programming languages.

• Expert knowledge of integrated development platforms such as Xamarin, Kony, Appcelerator, EMM/MDM, iOS SDK, and Android SDK.
