Software Development Analyst II – Next.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create front-end applications utilizing React, Next.js (App Router), and TypeScript.

• Implement Server Components, Server Actions, and various rendering strategies such as SSR, SSG, and ISR.

• Design responsive, accessible, and reusable interfaces using MUI and CSS Modules.

• Integrate REST APIs while managing state, error handling, and loading states.

• Oversee application state management through Context API, Zustand, or Redux Toolkit.

• Organize projects adhering to MVVM architecture and clean code principles.

• Develop and sustain automated tests and component documentation using Storybook.

• Enforce form validation, authentication, authorization, and route protection.

• Enhance performance and technical SEO within Next.js.

• Collaborate effectively using Git and team development methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Strong background in React.js with Next.js App Router.

• Proficient in Server Components (RSC).

• Expertise in Server Actions.

• Familiarity with SSR, SSG, and ISR in Next.js.

• Ability to create routes, layouts, and organize folders using the App Router.

• Experience in consuming APIs (REST) with fetch/axios and managing errors, loading, and intermediate states.

• Proficient in handling JSON data and basic data modeling.

• Knowledge of state management techniques (Context API, Zustand, or Redux Toolkit).

• Understanding of MVVM architecture as applied to front-end development.

• Skills in building responsive and accessible user interfaces.

• Familiarity with Material UI (MUI).

• Experience with CSS Modules.

• Ability to write clean code adhering to ESLint and standardization best practices.

• Experience with automated unit and integration testing using Jest and React Testing Library.

• Proficient in using Storybook for documentation and isolated component development.

• Knowledge of form validation with Zod, including integration with React Hook Form.

• Experience with version control using Git and collaborative workflows.

• Awareness of performance optimization in React/Next, including lazy loading, memoization, optimized rendering, and handling hydration errors.

• Familiarity with front-end authentication and authorization best practices (JWT, cookies, sessions, route protection).

• Basic understanding of technical SEO optimization in Next.js.
