Software Developer, SME

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer support services for all facets of the Reliability and Maintainability Information System (REMIS) software development lifecycle.

• Ensure that software development adheres to Agile methodologies, principles of test-driven development, comprehensive documentation, user-centered design, and a scalable infrastructure.

• Maintain both application software and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software.

• Accountable for the design, coding, testing, quality assurance, deployment, software configuration management, and program documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in analyzing, designing, troubleshooting, implementing business logic, data access code, and developing automated test cases for intricate web application architectures.

• Advanced expertise in several of the following areas:

• Languages: HTML, Java, JavaScript, jQuery, Typescript, and Angular

• Relational databases: Oracle SQL and Oracle PL/SQL

• Automation Tools: Selenium Web driver, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams

• Framework: Apache

• Operating Systems: RedHat, Amazon Linux, Windows 10+

• Cloud computing: AWS Microservices

• Code Migration Tools: Git, GitHub, GitLab

• Must possess exceptional multi-tasking and time management abilities.

• Support team processes and engage in cross-functional teams.

• Exhibit outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, within a military context.

• Display analytical aptitude with attention to detail and accuracy, consistently ensuring problems are addressed while being able to respond to last-minute requests.

• All candidates must be able to complete 40 hours of annual security training as mandated by contract requirements.

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contract stipulations.

• Current Department of Defense adjudicated T3 investigation, with investigation closure dates not exceeding 5 years.
