Software Developer – Node.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create APIs utilizing Node.js, PostgreSQL, and/or MongoDB.

• Oversee the operational health of our applications.

• Contribute to enhancements in architecture.

• Assist in addressing and refining technical debt.

• Suggest innovative ideas and reusable architectural frameworks.

• Spot improvements in the design of our code and systems.

• Engage in the strategic planning of the engineering team.

• Mentor and guide team members in their professional development.

• Recognize bottlenecks and performance optimization opportunities in our databases and APIs.

• Serve as a reference for best practices in building our systems and applications.

• Ensure our components adhere to sound coding principles.

• Maintain a healthy level of coupling in our services.

• Confirm that changes do not compromise the quality and health of our services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated professional experience in technology.

• Proven experience in developing REST APIs.

• Familiarity with relational databases.

• Knowledge in system architecture and design.

• Background in testing methodologies.

• Regular experience with code refactoring.

• Proficient in Node.js.

• Experienced with databases.

• Proficient in PostgreSQL.

• Knowledgeable in C++.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in technology.

• At least 3 years of experience in developing Node.js applications.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies.

• Experience with DevOps practices.

• Knowledge of Redis.

• Experience with Elasticsearch.
