Software Developer, Linux, Python Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain software solutions on Linux utilizing Python to ensure smooth integrations.

• Evaluate and enhance current system integrations to boost efficiency and performance.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and execute technical solutions.

• Offer support for diagnosing and resolving technical challenges related to software integration.

• Develop and manage technical documentation for the software solutions and integration processes created.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field — or several years of relevant professional experience in IT.

• Minimum of three years of experience in Python development on Linux systems.

• Proficiency in integrating services through APIs and protocols such as REST, OpenID Connect, LDAP, and SQL.

• Ideally knowledgeable in Samba/Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and OpenLDAP.

• Proficient with Docker and experienced in container-based development.

• Capability to design scalable and dependable backend systems for extensive environments.

• Familiarity with pytest, Playwright, and GitLab is a plus.

• Basic understanding of JavaScript and CSS.

• Knowledge of Debian and its package management system.

• Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms.

• Insight into OpenID Connect IdPs, especially Keycloak.
