Software Developer in Test, Dutch Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and sustain automated testing frameworks for Caseware's web-based SaaS offerings.

• Conduct and manage functional, integration, regression, and exploratory tests.

• Work together with developers and product experts to enhance user stories, acceptance criteria, and testability.

• Examine requirements and technical designs to pinpoint risk areas and essential testing scenarios.

• Research, document, and monitor defects, providing detailed reproduction steps and impact analyses.

• Persistently enhance test coverage, test reliability, and overall QA methodologies.

• Guide and mentor junior SDET team members.

• Champion and endorse quality best practices throughout the engineering organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Mid-level experience (3–5 years) in QA, Test Automation, or SDET roles.

• Demonstrated experience in testing sophisticated web applications, ideally SaaS products.

• Robust analytical and critical thinking abilities with a systematic approach to problem-solving.

• Practical experience with contemporary test automation tools and frameworks, particularly **Cypress**.

• Strong comprehension of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile practices.

• Capability to write clear, maintainable, and structured test cases and automation scripts.

• Comfortable collaborating within cross-functional, international teams.

• Excellent coordination skills and the ability to promote a quality-first mindset within the team.

• Professional proficiency in both **Dutch and English**.

• **Nice to have:**

• Experience in auditing, accounting, financial reporting, or compliance software.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions) and Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence.

• ISTQB or other QA-related certifications.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern web architectures.

• Experience contributing to test strategies and quality enhancement initiatives.
