Software Developer – Full-time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Independent feature development from concept to completed product: You receive objectives, such as "We need a dashboard for the sales team," and you deliver the complete solution, including database, business logic, and user interface.

• AI-enhanced software development as standard practice: AI coding assistants like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot are integral tools in our daily development process. You utilize them consistently to enhance speed, efficiency, and quality.

• Ongoing development and refinement of existing software: You will not only create new features but also comprehend current code, identify enhancement opportunities, and strategically evolve systems.

• Integration of external systems and interfaces: Many features require connecting to third-party services, such as email, calendar, telephony, or payment providers. You will design and implement these integrations to ensure reliability and maintainability.

• Thoughtful database structure design: You grasp how business processes translate into clean data models and create database architectures that are effective today and scalable for future requirements.

• Accountability for clean, secure, and maintainable code: Quality is essential. You write code that remains comprehensible and extensible in the future, ensuring that technical debt is minimized from the outset.

• Autonomous work with genuine ownership: We establish goals rather than providing detailed instructions. You will work independently, communicate proactively, and suggest improvements without waiting for guidance.

• Proven effective AI workflow: You regularly utilize AI coding tools and can clearly articulate how they enhance your development process.

• Capability to understand business logic and translate it into software: For instance, when building a CRM for sales teams, you need to comprehend the necessity of a feature beyond its technical implementation.

• Quick understanding and eagerness to learn: Tools, frameworks, and best practices are continually evolving. We seek someone who rapidly learns new technologies and maintains curiosity rather than sticking to the same methods for years.

• Initiative and ownership mindset: You take accountability for your outcomes, think proactively, and do not wait for instructions on the next steps.

• Familiarity with our tech stack (desirable): We utilize Next.js/React, TypeScript, and Supabase. Previous experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Cloud experience (desirable): We operate across various cloud platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure. A basic understanding of cloud infrastructure is beneficial.

• Relevant degree or training (desirable): A degree or vocational training in computer science, application development, or a related area is appreciated. However, career changers with a robust portfolio are also encouraged to apply.
