Software Developer – Full Stack, Laravel/PHP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and create scalable, maintainable web applications utilizing PHP (v8+) and Laravel (v8–12).

• Architect application features and advocate for best practices.

• Construct interactive user interfaces using Livewire, Alpine.js, and Tailwind CSS.

• Develop and manage RESTful APIs; integrate with third-party services.

• Manage queue systems and background processes (Redis, queues).

• Design caching strategies for enhanced performance optimization.

• Write and uphold unit, feature, and integration tests.

• Oversee Git repositories and ensure effective version control practices.

• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, DeployHQ).

• Maintain comprehensive documentation and promote coding standards.

• Design database schemas, manage migrations, and optimize complex queries.

• Ensure scalability, availability, and security across all systems.

• Monitor performance using logs and monitoring tools.

• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain systems.

• Convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Engage in sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.

• Communicate effectively across various departments and time zones.

• Document architecture, APIs, and deployment procedures.

• Contribute to the long-term technical roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of professional development experience.

• Proficient in PHP (7.3–8.4) and modern object-oriented programming best practices.

• Expertise in Laravel (v8–12), including Eloquent, service providers, etc.

• Experience with Livewire (v2/v3) and Alpine.js for reactive front-end functionality.

• Skilled in Tailwind CSS (v3/v4) for contemporary, responsive UI development.

• Familiarity with Git and GitHub workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews).

• Experience in CI/CD and deployment automation.

• Knowledge of MySQL query optimization, indexing, and database migrations.

• Understanding of Linux servers and web server configuration (Nginx/Apache).
