Software Developer Backend, C++

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will create modern backend and server applications for our CAIGOS products alongside an agile team.

• Engage in the development of high-performance systems for processing, provisioning, and integrating geospatial data.

• Enhance our backend and server applications utilizing C++.

• Develop robust and high-performance software solutions based on contemporary C++ frameworks (e.g., Qt, Boost).

• Construct business logic, services, and interfaces.

• Connect and integrate various data sources and APIs.

• Evaluate functional requirements and translate them into sustainable technical solutions.

• Contribute to architectural and design decisions within the backend domain.

• Collaborate within an agile team (Scrum), including conducting code reviews and testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in software development with C++, whether you are an entry-level or seasoned developer.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented software development and modern C++ concepts.

• Familiarity with frameworks like Qt, Boost, or similar libraries is advantageous.

• A keen interest in stable, high-performance server and backend systems.

• Basic knowledge of software architecture, clean code principles, and testability.

• Awareness of web or API technologies is beneficial but not mandatory.

• A team-oriented mindset, initiative, and a commitment to professional growth.

• Proficiency in written and spoken German.
