Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop and Maintain Software Applications: Design, code, test, debug, and document software applications utilizing the .NET framework, Python, cloud, and related technologies.

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

• Collaborate with the team to define, design, and implement new features.

• Collaboration and Support: Work alongside project leaders, product owners, and developers to comprehend business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements for existing systems.

• Offer assistance to end-users of the application through troubleshooting and problem-solving.

• Continuous Improvement: Keep abreast of new technology trends and best practices in .NET framework and Python development.

• Consistently enhance the codebase, rectify bugs, and optimize performance.

• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and promote shared knowledge.

• Testing and Documentation: Create and maintain thorough documentation for software solutions.

• Develop and execute unit and functional tests to guarantee code quality.

• Aid in defining test scenarios and testing the developed functionality.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in commercial development.

• Proficiency in .NET Framework/Core, Python, and object-oriented programming.

• Strong skills in Test Driven Development, unit, integration, and acceptance testing.

• Experience with Microservices, distributed architecture, event buses, and message queues.

• Solid understanding of client-server architecture, asynchronous programming, ORMs, REST/GraphQL, and application logging.

• Extensive experience with SQL/NoSQL (MsSQL, MongoDB), Docker, and cloud platforms (Azure).

• Exceptional communication, teamwork, detail-oriented, and analytical skills.

• Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with front-end technologies (React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and modern DevOps practices.

• Experience with AWS/Azure cloud environments.

• Knowledge of application performance monitoring tools.
