Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design and create innovative features and solutions that address customer use cases in both existing and new software products.

• Collaborate within an agile team setting, emphasizing continuous improvement in planning, estimating, and software development.

• Achieve sprint goals by actively engaging with stakeholders to identify and overcome challenges.

• Develop high-performance software across various technology stacks and participate in the governance of the development process.

• Work closely with Architects, QA, Product Management, and other cross-functional project teams.

• Contribute to practices in continuous integration, continuous deployment, and DevOps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing large-scale web applications.

• Proficient in full-stack development across various technical stacks including React, TypeScript, Node.js, and cloud services (AWS) or equivalent.

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.

• Strong understanding of UI and UX principles.

• Solid grasp of object-oriented programming concepts.

• Professional experience in an agile development environment.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in web application development for intermediate candidates.

• Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

• Successful completion of a Criminal Background Check and Public Safety Verification.

• Preferred qualifications include a Master’s Degree and/or vendor certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Professional.
