Software Compliance Leader, Channel Partners

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee business operations to ensure compliance with both internal company policies and external regulatory requirements.

• Implement effective mechanisms to adhere to applicable laws and regulations.

• Collaborate closely with Commercial, Operations, and TPRM leadership to execute the GE Vernova Antibribery and Anticorruption program principles.

• Manage and enhance compliance programs across Software, including conducting risk assessments, promoting policies and procedures, providing training, facilitating communication, and monitoring and reporting.

• Provide legal and compliance oversight for third-party engagements.

• Support and coordinate compliance initiatives across all Software business units and functions.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Compliance, law, or corporate legal roles, preferably with a focus on investigations, anti-corruption/ABAC, third-party risk management, channel partner compliance, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, or international trade compliance.

• At least 3 years of experience advising software, technology, digital, or industrial sectors within the compliance or legal function, with proven exposure to channel partner, distributor, or agent compliance programs.

• Working knowledge of anti-corruption laws and frameworks (FCPA, UK Bribery Act), third-party risk management principles, and best practices for channel partner compliance in a multinational setting.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree is a plus, along with a license to practice from the relevant state Bar Association.

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, capable of influencing and coordinating with Commercial, Operations, Compliance, and Legal functions globally.

• Proven ability to analyze and resolve issues effectively.

• Demonstrated capability to lead programs/projects across multiple business units and geographic locations.

• Competence in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs.

• Established project management skills.

• In-depth understanding of, or ability to swiftly learn, GE Vernova's ABAC program, TPRM standards, Enterprise Compliance Standards, and channel partner compliance requirements.

• Experience in managing channel partner, distributor, or agent compliance programs in a multinational industrial or technology context is highly preferred.
