Social Worker, LCSW – Per Diem, Variable

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as a key member of a behavioral health consultation team serving acute patients remotely via a telehealth platform.

• Evaluate and triage patients through telehealth across diverse ages, genders, medical conditions, and geographic locations.

• Perform psychosocial assessments in emergency department and inpatient environments.

• Offer clinical social work consultation services.

• Provide treatment recommendations.

• Execute risk assessments.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions.

• Suggest discharge planning strategies.

• Render mental health diagnoses.

• Conduct crisis intervention.

• Facilitate warm handoffs to the Psychiatrist on the Enterprise Telehealth team when suitable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from a CSWE Accredited University.

• Upon employment, possess one of the following licenses: Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker, Alaska Clinical Social Worker, California Clinical Social Worker, Montana Clinical Social Worker, Oregon Clinical Social Worker, New Mexico Clinical Social Worker, or Texas Clinical Social Worker.

• Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience in an Emergency Department, Inpatient, or Outpatient Behavioral Health setting.

• Proficient in documenting within an Electronic Health Record; experience with EPIC is preferred.

• At least 1 year of experience working with children or adolescents is preferred.
