This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Client Consultation: Engage with clients to evaluate their eligibility for SSI/SSDI benefits.

• Application Assistance: Support clients in accurately completing SSI/SSDI applications.

• Appeals Representation: Represent clients during appeals hearings in front of administrative law judges.

• Evidence Gathering: Collect pertinent medical records, employment history, and other essential documents.

• Legal Research: Remain informed about SSA regulations and relevant case law.

• Communication: Serve as a liaison between clients and government agencies.

• Advocacy: Advocate for clients with disabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Admission to the Bar: The attorney must be licensed to practice law in at least one state.

• Documentation of SSA authorization: Required to represent disability claimants.

• Specialization in Social Security Disability Law: Significant experience and specialization in Social Security Disability law are preferred.

• Years of Experience: The attorney should possess 4+ years of practice in the field.

• Litigation Skills: Strong litigation skills are essential.

• Expertise in Medical Evidence: Knowledge of medical terminology and the capability to interpret medical records is necessary.

• Strong Legal Research and Writing Skills.

• Client Advocacy: The attorney should be a committed advocate for their clients.

• Attention to Detail: Careful attention to detail is crucial.
