CyberSecurity Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Providing security solutions and services across diverse technology sectors such as cloud, web, endpoint, network, and more.

• Partnering with engineers, developers, project owners, and users to deploy security measures and satisfy security requests.

• Articulating recommendations while blending interpersonal skills with technical expertise.

• Assisting in the management and testing of tools related to PKI, X509 certificates, OS user security, secrets management, and code signing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

• Proficiency with popular Windows and Linux security tools such as RunAs, PsExec, sudo, and ssh.

• Familiarity with authentication principles, including multifactor authentication and single sign-on.

• Comprehension of how X509 certificates are utilized in HTTPS.

• Capability to automate straightforward tasks using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Foundational knowledge of web client and server communication protocols (DNS, HTTP, etc.).

• Proficient with common networking tools including nmap, curl, openssl, and wireshark.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently while maintaining responsiveness.

• Exceptional communication skills for both technical and non-technical topics.
