This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct personalized consultations to determine SSI eligibility.

• Assess household structure, countable income, resource levels, deeming, and state-specific differences.

• Clarify the SSI application process, required documentation, and available pathways, including CAL, TERI, Presumptive Disability, Disabled Adult Child, and 1619(b).

• Oversee cases from initiation to completion with precise documentation.

• Sustain expert-level understanding of SSI regulations, Medicaid eligibility criteria, POMS guidance, and SSA procedures.

• Achieve or surpass FEDlogic QA quality standards and engage in internal enhancement initiatives.

• Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10+ years of adjudication experience with the Social Security Administration (SSA), particularly related to SSI, disability evaluations, or Medicaid-related decisions.

• Solid working knowledge of POMS concerning: SSI income, resource deeming, and disability evaluation for Social Security (Retirement, Disability, and SSI), as well as Medicare.

• Excellent analytical and documentation abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Strong writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented setting.

• Capable of prolonged sitting and computer work.

• Must manage confidential medical information with sensitivity.

• Proficient in Customer Relationship Management systems (e.g., Salesforce and Tableau), workforce management tools, Google Workplace, Slack, and limited use of Microsoft Office Suite.

• Previous experience in providing benefits counseling, healthcare eligibility analysis, advocacy, or case management is preferred.

• Experience working with vulnerable populations or individuals facing significant health or financial challenges is preferred.

• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are advantageous.
