Social Media Strategist, Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement social media strategies across the APAC region.

• Organize and oversee content calendars that are in sync with brand, campaign, and product objectives.

• Formulate platform-specific social strategies for channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams, such as brand, content, creative, and marketing.

• Assist with campaign launches, partnerships, product announcements, and brand storytelling efforts.

• Evaluate social performance metrics and offer actionable insights along with optimization suggestions.

• Keep track of social trends, platform changes, and competitor activities within the fintech and technology industries.

• Aid in community engagement and audience growth initiatives as needed.

• Coordinate with designers, creators, agencies, or freelancers to produce social assets and campaigns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, or content strategy roles.

• Comprehensive knowledge of social media platforms, audience engagement, and content performance metrics.

• Experience in managing regional or APAC-focused campaigns is preferred.

• A background in fintech, technology, consumer tech, finance, or high-growth startups is highly desirable.

• Ability to harmonize brand storytelling with performance-oriented social execution.

• Excellent copywriting, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Familiarity with social analytics, scheduling, and reporting tools.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, collaborative, and remote environment.
