Social Media Manager – Marketing VA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Develop and schedule social media content across various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)

• Source and edit existing photos and videos from approved asset libraries to create social media-friendly content

• Utilize Canva (along with provided templates) to design graphics and posts that adhere to brand guidelines

• Craft compelling captions and copy that reflect each client's unique brand voice

• Ensure a consistent content calendar is maintained across all accounts

• Oversee Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns — identify performance issues and potential opportunities

• Implement new ad campaigns and creative content as directed

• Confirm that content and creative assets are correctly uploaded and live

• Generate performance reports from Meta, Google, and additional platforms

• Assemble KPI summaries utilizing AI tools and/or existing reporting templates

• Monitor key metrics and report notable trends to Rachel regularly

• Support general administrative tasks and workflow coordination across client accounts

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong grasp of social media platforms and what content performs well organically

• Proficient in Canva — able to navigate templates while ensuring brand consistency

• Excellent writing skills — able to create engaging captions, copy, and outreach emails

• Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads (campaign setup and oversight)

• Highly organized with exceptional time management skills across multiple accounts

• Available Monday through Friday, from 10 AM to 2 PM Eastern Time

• Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other professional design tools (Nice-to-Have)

• Background in multi-client or agency settings (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience in pulling and formatting marketing KPI reports (Nice-to-Have)

• Knowledge of scheduling tools (Later, Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar) (Nice-to-Have)
