This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create continuous editorial strategies and oversee the daily operations of PrizePicks' social media accounts across various platforms, including X, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Facebook, and YouTube.
• Generate content tailored for distribution across channels, ensuring it is optimized for each specific platform.
• Maintain a rolling content schedule of 1-2 weeks, finalizing weekly plans to incorporate new story developments and a comprehensive always-on social content calendar.
• Assist in channel planning for integrated marketing initiatives and major events.
• Monitor ongoing player, league, team, and cultural narratives that are significant to the PrizePicks audience, providing insights that enhance planning and execution for the entire social media and community team.
• Conduct reporting on content and channels to assess performance, pinpoint strengths and weaknesses, and guide future strategies.
• Engage in strategy and campaign planning sessions, brainstorming meetings, reporting synchronizations, and other internal and cross-departmental processes.
• Strong editorial intuition — you possess an understanding of cultural trends, narrative development, and how to convert these elements into engaging social media content.
• Innovative and creative thinking — you are willing to take calculated risks and explore unconventional methods.
• Demonstrated experience in comprehensive social media management, encompassing content planning, creation, channel programming, and performance reporting & analysis.
• Extensive knowledge of sports and cultural narratives, with the ability to swiftly discern which stories are worth pursuing and which are not.
• Profound understanding of social media platforms and their organic best practices, particularly X, Instagram, TikTok, and Threads.
• Strong engagement with internet culture, humor, and social-first content formats.
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage a fast-paced, dynamic, always-on content pipeline without oversight.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills — this role requires collaboration across editorial, creative, and product marketing teams, necessitating effective cross-functional partnerships.
• Familiarity with the PrizePicks brand and product, as well as the daily fantasy sports sector, is advantageous.
