This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Oversee the management of the company's LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram accounts, prioritizing LinkedIn as the key platform for engaging accredited investors and institutional partners.
• Handle the CEO's LinkedIn and Instagram accounts, focusing on LinkedIn as the principal medium for thought leadership and cultivating an investor audience.
• Collaborate with local videographers and photographers to coordinate content creation for social media, while also tracking engagement metrics.
• Publish content 2-3 times weekly across each platform, tailoring posts to suit the audience of each platform (personalized for Instagram and business-oriented for LinkedIn) focused on commercial real estate thought leadership and business mindset.
• Engage with comments, messages, and connection requests, ensuring a positive interaction across both accounts.
• Independently research Alakai's deals, markets, and industry trends to generate original content ideas without requiring prompts from leadership. Actively seek information rather than waiting for it to be provided.
• Create content (posts, images, infographics) tailored for social media platforms.
• Establish and manage Nick Jones's personal brand voice and content calendar with minimal input from the CEO.
• Following an onboarding period, content should authentically reflect Nick's voice and require little to no revisions prior to publication. Collaborate with graphic designers or utilize tools to create engaging visual content.
• Schedule posts in alignment with business milestones, acquisitions, and relevant industry news.
• Ensure timely posting across all platforms.
• Proven track record in developing a personal brand for a founder or C-suite executive, rather than just company pages. Candidates must provide writing samples focused on investment, business, or financial topics; experience with consumer lifestyle brands alone is inadequate.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok) and content creation tools (e.g., Canva).
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to emulate someone else's authentic voice. Must create content on commercial real estate, investment strategies, and business leadership that resonates with a sophisticated accredited investor audience. Basic financial literacy is essential; candidates must quickly grasp and write knowledgeably about cap rates, NOI, deal structures, and investor returns within 60 days of employment.
• Highly organized and self-motivated, capable of managing multiple social media accounts and content calendars independently. This role requires an individual who takes initiative, proactively identifies opportunities, and can operate effectively without day-to-day guidance from the CEO.
• Experience in monitoring performance and adapting strategies based on data insights.
• Demonstrated expertise in LinkedIn growth, including knowledge of platform algorithms, content format effectiveness, engagement strategies, and audience development for professional and investor groups.
• Proficient in AI platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools, with the capability to effectively use them for content drafting, research, ideation, and workflow automation. Candidates must provide specific examples of how they have leveraged AI to enhance output quality, boost production speed, or address content challenges. This proficiency in AI is a non-negotiable requirement and is considered a core competency for this role.
